What to do after … dreamOlé!

So, it’s not all hard work, coming to means not only being with some of the most innovative techy minds within the Salesforce ecosystem but it also means coming to Spain! Madrid has so many cool spots, keep reading to find out some of the coolest places in the capital.

Whether you are into culture, prefer nature, want to party all night long or prefer diving into Madrid culinary style, you will be spoilt for choice, Madrid can offer all of these options.

A must visit for culture are Museo Reina Sofia, Museo del Prado and Círculo de Bellas Artes, check them out! And also check out Palacio Real, Madrid’s largest building and official residence of the Spanish Royal family. if you do go to the Palacio Real, make sure you have a wander around its vicinity to see La Catedral de la Almudena- you won’t be disappointed!

If you prefer nature, you can go for a stroll or grab a boat in the Retiro Park and have a wonderful relaxing evening. You can also go to El Escorial, set in the outskirts, northwest of Madrid, to see this monastery which was once the historical residence of the king of Spain.

If you are foodie, Madrid can satisfy you immensely! You have a variety of choices and places to choose from! In the city centre, you will find El Sobrino de Botin, the oldest running restaurant in the world (make sure you book a table in advance!) and try their cochinillo. You can also go to the tapas scene in la Latina neighbourhood, where you can taste different types of food tapa style!  

If you have a sweet tooth – make sure you go to Chocolateria SanGines and try their churros con chocolate, open 24 hours a day, it is the oldest churreria, going on since 1894. Another good place to check out is La Mallorquina, breakfast here is a good option as they make their pastry fresh every single day.

And finally Madrid’s nightlife! with tons of bars Madrid is buzzing at night, just sit in a terrace and enjoy your cerveza (Una cerveza por favor!) or go partying, you can try Joy Eslava or Teatro Kapital, and dance the night away!
