What can I expect at dreamOlé 18?

blue-infinity Linked by Isobar talk to Laura Diaz, dreamOlé co-organiser about her expectations for this year, what’s new and what we can look forward to at this leading event for the Salesforce community.

What’s important for dreamOlé this year?

We’re now in our second year and back by popular demand – in fact we’re sold out. Last year was a big success and we’re expecting 250 guests this year. We’re well known for a few reasons, one being that we offer a third of sessions in Spanish. We engage on many levels, and have become an important event for Salesforce amateurs and professionals across Spain, and abroad.

dreamOlé in three sentences?

It’s an exceptional moment to engage with people from the community, to connect people those who live and work in smaller cities, and experience that “DreamforceTM” feeling!

What’s on the agenda?

Some high level topics this year include discussion around bots, Einstein, Lightning components, platform events and more. Topics are decided by speaker submissions and we have over 20 speakers as well as keynotes from Holly Firestone, Zayne Turner, Salesforce MVPs and many other speakers.

What’s new?

Besides our demos and workshops, we’re launching “Dev Trails” organised by developer relationship managers from EMEA. This is going to help train people over the whole day from beginner to advanced level, and award badges.

What will people take away with them?

A maximum of inspiration for trying out new things back home, because we give a short intense window into a variety of interesting topics. It’s also a time for connecting – building your network and feeling supported by the community when you’re back at work. Lastly, fun! Remembering the good times and looking forward to next year!

How can people get in touch?

blue-infinity are sponsoring a booth, and my colleague Srijeet is hosting a session. Oh and we’re offering free massages and other treats, so come and say hi! I’m really looking forward to connecting with you!
